DCDS In Motion is an avenue which has been established for DCDS dancers. Our mission is to create an environment for our dancers to expand their talents, enjoy performance type activities, and learn priceless lessons by participating in various projects to help others in our community.
The second event is in the works and will take place November 21st & 22nd at the Hoogland Center For The Arts. This performance will be “The Nutcracker All Jazzed Up”. The production will be based on the classic story of The Nutcracker, however jazzed up the DCDS way!!
The proceeds of this production will go to our Local Red Cross and have a positive affect on the lives of the citizens our community. Our local chapter, Illinois Capital Area Chapter, is in need. In addition to benefiting our local red cross, we hope to have a food drive in conjunction with the production.
